I’m a third-year BMus student at The Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory of Music studying under Glenn Einschlag. I was a four-year member of the Houston Youth Symphony while studying under Adam Trussell, during which I made my solo debut with the Weber Bassoon Concerto. I also participated in the Brevard Music Center and Kinhaven Music School’s summer music programs, learning from renowned bassoonists such as Sue Barber, Catherine Chen, Andrew Brady, and Isaac Shultz.
During my time at The Glenn Gould School, I have participated in masterclasses featuring both solo pieces and orchestral excerpts, guested by Fie Xie, Miles Maner, Kim Laskowski, and Marc Goldberb. I‘m a frequent member of the Royal Conservatory Orchestra, performing as Principal Bassoon on Kelly-Marie Murphy’s Curiosity, Genius, and the Search for Petula Clark with the RCO in the orchestra’s Carnegie Hall debut.
